After a two-year hiatus, hip-hop trio 2U4U have returned with their new single “Oh My God!”
A refreshingly modern UK hip-hop interpretation with clear US influences, “Oh My God!” pays homage to elemental hip-hop whilst staying true to universal musicality. The song interpolates A Tribe Called Quest’s classic featuring Busta Rhymes whilst producing a fresh, hard-hitting and lyrically modern cut
2U4U are not your prototypical hip-hop collective. The group’s original members ATMA and My Rugema met in school, bonded over their love of music production. Noting classics like Baduizm and D’Angelo’s Voodoo. They spent their free time crafting beats they imagined would alter the hip-hop landscape. They aren’t from London, Bristol or Manchester – they hail from Rugby. Now with the addition of Ranbir, ATMA’s brother, they create genre-bending hip-hop for the ages.
